A Fun Day

posted Wednesday, 11 June 2008

Our granddaughters are spending the day with us.  The three of us just finished doing girly things.  They soaked their feet in water with a fuzzy tablet, put a rosemary mint mask on their feet, and finished it up with a foot balm.  Before that we washed our faces, put on a deep cleanser and moisturizer and a bit a make up.  (It wasn't too much, Mom!)  Then they put a deep cleanser and moisturizer on their hands.  They also put perfume on their "pulse points."

So much for girly things.  Now they are outside getting the last of the water out of the swimming pool.  (We put up a pool, but it wasn't level enough.  So now we are starting over and need to get all the water out first.)  They each have a bucket.  They are having a great time.  I told them last night that they seem to enjoy anything that they do.  Oldest agreed by saying, "Uh huh."

This afternoon, we are going to see "Kung Fu Panda."

What a great day with grandkids!

Our 17-month-old granddaughter (our only grandchild) is in Ohio. I'm so envious.

Wow! sounds like so much fun. I can't wait until I can do girlie things with Gabby. I never did girlie things before. My life has alway been full of boy things....What a minute. I did paint my toenails about a month ago when Gabby was here, and she let me paint her big toe. I guess we are starting to do girlie things Thanks for the ideas.
