August Happiness Challenge - Days 25 and 26

I'm happy because I've spent yesterday and today with my children and grandchildren.  Yesterday we spent the day with our daughter and family.  They went with us to shop for a stand for the new TV in the living room.  Then we went to lunch at one of our favorite restaurants.  Then back to our house where my husband and son-in-law put together the TV stand.  My daughter supervised them by taking a nap.  She did a great job!  After that we had to check out the TV, so we hooked up the DVD player and watched Top Secret while eating popcorn.

Today our son and his girlfriend came to pick up some things they had put in our garage.  They just moved into a new apartment and need their things, especially the pots and pans.  They came around 11, loaded up their car, and ended up staying for lunch.  We had a great time.

 It is easier to love humanity in general than to love one's neighbor.
