Poor Me!

Last week I caught a cold and cough that my husband so generously gave to me.  Today I'm starting to feel normal again.  The only good thing about being sick was the fact that I lost about five pounds!  The bad thing about being sick was the fact that we had planned on picking up our granddaughters after school on Friday.  We decided not to because I didn't want to give them my cold to them. 

I heard on TV that when a person goes to work with a cold, ten people get sick.  That seems like a lot, but I'm not surprised that others can get your cold. 

When our daughter told our granddaughters that we weren't picking them up, one said, "We can stay away from her."  Our daughter said something like, "But how can she resist hugging and kissing on you?  She doesn't want you get sick."  One of our granddaughters replied, "We could run really fast and go straight to the bedroom and lock the door."

After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph,
before they came together, she was found with child
of the Holy Spirit.  Then Joseph her husband,
being a just man, and not wanting to make her
a public example, was minded to put her away secretly.

to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is
conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
And she will bring forth a Son, and
you shall call His name JESUS,
