The First Thing That Makes Me Happy

I'm so happy!  BIG ORANGE MICHAEL has issued the AUGUST HAPPINESS CHALLENGE again this year.  Starting today and throughout the month of August, I'll try to post something that makes me happy.  Join others and me if you want.  It will make you think, and you'll appreciate your life more!

Day 1 - I have a good friend named Linda.  I've known her about 16 years.  We go to the same church and do other things together, such as go to garage sales, go to the movies, take trips with her Ralph and my Bill, and just hang out together.  For about a year, I have been meeting her for lunch every Wednesday.  Sometimes another friend joins us.  So, having lunch with good friends makes me happy.
