Wow, this week has gone by fast! Here's what we've been doing:
Saturday we waited for the DirecTV guy to come. He never showed up. My husband called several times. The time was rescheduled to Thursday. I won't bore you with the details, but my husband was impatiently patiently waiting to watch sports.
Sunday morning we attended services at a small, small Presbyterian church. In the afternoon, we went to dinner at our son's and his girlfriend's new apartment. We also met some of girlfriend's family for the first time.
Monday, we went over to our daughter's anti-in-laws' for lunch, TV, and a little bit of napping!
Since Tuesday was my husband's first day of retirement when he would normally go into work, he decided to play golf. Unfortunately, there was 90-percent chance of rain. So we went to the nearby naval reserve base. We went to the pharmacy and the BX Mart (grocery store). It ended up being a nice day; he could have golfed. In the mid-afternoon, our son-in-law came over to help me with a problem with my wireless router. He couldn't get it fix, but not all was lost. We visited with our granddaughters, and our daughter brought dinner.
Wednesday we worked around the house, like we have been doing all week--things like putting up the wall clock, the ironing board holder, the Dustbuster, unpacking more boxes, getting the beds ready for the granddaughters who are coming for the weekend, and organizing the study especially the computer and the books. I could go on, but you get the picture, I'm sure.
Yesterday my husband mowed the yard. The DirecTV guy came, and we are all set up and watching TV. My husband is happy now.
At this very moment, my husband is finally on the golf course. We pick up the granddaughters this afternoon. Woo hoo!

Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.
He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.
