I guess you find that hard to believe since I haven't posted anything in two weeks! Like our first week here, the last two have been busy. We are getting used to being retired. I think my husband hasn't had a chance to really know what retirement is like to to enjoy it. We've been so busy settling in. He says I have all sorts of honey do's for him, which is true. I've been able to keep accomplishing my goal of not setting my alarm, but my husband isn't accomplishing his--not getting up before the sun. Well, there are some mornings that he sleeps in. I guess his internal clock is still in working mode. I'm sure he'll eventually get over it!
On Monday we drove to Bossier City, Louisiana, to play the slots. Of course, we didn't win. We never do. But it was nice to get away. I couldn't do something in the house and then say that I'll do one more thing and end up doing a lot of things and not stopping. (Just like that last sentence!) So Monday night, I slept 11 hours. My husband said that I needed it.
