What a Fair Day!

Last Thursday, my husband and I went with our younger granddaughter on her class field trip to the Texas State Fair.  We hung out with one of her good friends who is in her class and the friend's mom.  They had a great time feeding the animals, hearing a talk about milk, seeing a huge sand sclupture, going on some rides, and eating grape snowcones.  Below are two photos.  The first one is Big Tex with granddaughter and her friend hugging each other in the lower right portion.  In the second one, they are acting crazy in front of a huge container of milk.  Things come big in Texas!
